Nembo means “cloud” in Italian, conjuring images of Venice’s deep blue skies and fluffy white clouds that have enchanted artists for centuries, and still frame the skies above this magnificent city today.
Your Private Palace in the Clouds
Standing on the site of a former palace, this mindfully designed home channels the energy and spirit of Venice to all guests – creating lasting memories of warmth, joy and comfort as you experience first-hand the wonders of Italy’s city of canals, culture and history. The cloud theme carries on into the residence, reflected in its lush Venetian tapestries, soothing hues and detailed marble accents.

The house is located in a storied palazzo in Venice (a UNESCO world heritage site), just metres away from the world-famous Rialto bridge and a vibrant market boasting 1,000 years of history. A few steps further and you arrive at the iconic Grand Canal, a main artery of life in Venice since ancient times.

The House
Over the span of five years, Nembo has been renovated from the ground up to cradle residents in comfort, art and of la bella vita. Offering far more than a typical hotel stay, our home is ideal for a gathering of extended family or close friends, providing an authentic experience of life in the heart of Venice.
Inspired by famous designers from the 1970s, Nembo’s renovations were approved by the Venice Academy of Fine Arts and incorporate a wide variety of Venetian renovation cues from the exterior façade to the elegant interior, and all the materials and fabrics within.
